FILIPINO SIGN LANGUAGE PROGRAM

Welcome to DeafEd’s Filipino Sign Language (FSL) Program — a structured and inclusive training initiative dedicated to ending language barriers and empowering both Deaf and hearing individuals to communicate fluently in Filipino Sign Language (FSL).

JOIN OUR ADVOCACY

DeafEd Philippines offers comprehensive Filipino Sign Language training tailored for beginners, professionals, and advocates. Whether you’re taking your first steps in sign language or aiming to deepen your skills toward interpreting, this program is designed to be accessible, practical, and community-rooted.

📘 Basic to Level-Based FSL Courses
Our structured levels (FSL Level 1–4) help learners build competency from foundational communication to advanced signing and interpreting skills. Learners may progress by level and continue their journey toward professional development and advocacy.

💻 Virtual & In-Person Classes (Hybrid Options Available)
We offer flexible learning setups through live virtual classes, face-to-face sessions, and hybrid formats (online + live) to support learners across regions and schedules—without sacrificing interaction and guided practice.

🤟 Inclusive Learning Approach
Our classes welcome both hearing and Deaf participants. Learners are encouraged to practice in community contexts and develop authentic sign communication through culturally respectful learning and Deaf mentorship.

👥 Class Options for Every Learner
We provide training formats based on your goals and needs:

  • Special Group Classes (small or big groups)

  • One-on-One Sessions

  • Dyad Classes (pair learning)

  • Family Classes (parents, kids, siblings, caregivers)

Breaking the language barrier means creating access, inclusion, and meaningful communication between Deaf, hearing, and DeafBlind communities through Filipino Sign Language.
