Our Curriculum

Learning through play, exploration, and discovery

At DeafEd TheraPlay Bauan, we believe every child is capable of learning in their own way and at their own pace. Our curriculum supports children’s academic, social, emotional, communication, and practical life skills through meaningful experiences.

Our approach is inspired by Reggio Emilia, which values children’s curiosity, creativity, relationships, and ability to express themselves in different ways. We offer opportunities to learn through play, hands-on activities, exploration, and interaction with others.

Individualized Support for Every Child

We recognize that children have different strengths, interests, and support needs. Our team works with families to adapt learning activities and provide a welcoming, inclusive environment where children can participate and grow.

Explorers

Children discover and learn through play, hands-on activities, and group routines. We encourage curiosity, communication, and interaction with classmates.

Innovators

Children explore ideas, solve problems, and express their creativity through engaging activities. They practice working with others and sharing their ideas.

Achievers

Children build confidence and independence while participating in learning activities with their peers. We support their academic, communication, and everyday life skills.

Special Education International Mentorship

Our mentor and coach is currently based in Minnesota, USA, where she works in special education. She continues to support DeafEd TheraPlay by mentoring and helping train our staff, sharing strategies, and guiding the development of our programs.

Through this ongoing collaboration, our team draws on special education practices from both the Philippines and the United States. We adapt these ideas to support each child’s individual needs and strengthen inclusive learning experiences for children and families in Bauan.
